Samsung is about to launch one of the cheapest phones in its catalog. It is a remake of an old version known as Galaxy A01 or Galaxy A02. This version is cheap and costs about $100.
Samsung’s official website revealed that the Hat is very close to being official and that it can be purchased from moment to moment. Previous leaks allow us to take a look at its features and design as well.
It comes as a simple device but with some features that we did not see in previous versions. The best example of this is the in-display fingerprint sensor on the side, something generally meant for higher budget devices.
The rest of the design provides for a plastic body, a camera unit with several sensors and a front with a notch in the form of a drop of water. It follows the line of other cheap Samsung phones that are already in the market and does not stand out much in anything to be able to offer a decent price.
In terms of features, Samsung chose a 6.5-inch IPS LCD screen, a MediaTek Helio G35 processor, 4GB of RAM, and a 13-megapixel main camera sensor.
It will also include Android 11 and a 5,000 mAh battery, likely with fast charging between 10 and 15 watts. It’s modest features which are fully justified by its potentially low price.
