He Gang confirmed, in an official post on the Weibo platform, the Chinese giant Huawei’s plans to launch its new smartwatch release in the second half of 2021.
Huawei is preparing to launch a new version of smart watches later this year, and Gang today confirmed that the smart watch comes with a feature to measure and monitor the blood pressure of users, a feature provided for the first time in smart watches.
The leaks indicated that the upcoming Huawei smart watch comes with an ECG algorithm to monitor the electrocardiogram, which comes with medical standards that are already being tested in medical institutions in the Chinese market.
Huawei also plans to integrate the features of the smart measurement of high blood pressure, heart disease screening and monitoring, and temperature measurement in its next smart watch.
The Huawei smart watch also comes with an ECG monitoring feature, and the smartwatch will collect PPG and ACC data to monitor the early signs of heart disease.
Recall that the leaks indicate that Huawei is planning to launch its smartwatch at the company’s event scheduled for the second half of 2021 to announce the P50 series.
