Redmi Note 8 gets MIUI 12.5 update
The Redmi Note 8, which received the MIUI 12 update with default RAM in the past months, has now started receiving the MIUI 12.5 build based on Android 11. The update, which comes with the version number V220.127.116.11. RCOEUXM, distributed over an OTA of 807MB. MIUI 12.5 offers a better experience in terms of fluidity and performance compared to the previous version. On the other hand, power consumption was reduced by 25 percent and the average memory consumed in the background by 35 percent.
In addition, it offers various features such as live wallpapers such as Mars, Earth and Mountain, natural animal sounds from four major habitats, new privacy modes, and a completely revamped MIUI Note app.
The device that surprised its users by receiving two updates in the past two months has been known to be relatively late compared to other models in terms of updates. As is known, it took the smartphone, which came out of the box with Android 9 Pie, a whole year to get Android 10. Finally, it is worth noting that due to the distribution of the update via OTA, it may be a little delayed to reach the devices.
