And during the past hours, new information appeared on the subject, adding to what we know previously, and it came from the XDA Developers website, indicating that the process of upgrading to Windows 11 from Windows 10 will be possible, but also from the rest of Microsoft systems: Windows 8.1 and Windows 7, and it will be the process is free, as it seems clear that Microsoft wants to ensure the success of Windows 11 from the start and entice users to switch to it.
As a reminder, Microsoft has updated its support page for its operating systems, a few days after the event that the company will organize, in which it will reveal what it called “the next generation of Windows,” a new major update for the Windows system that Microsoft will reveal, and This is how we learned that Windows 10, which was officially supported for the first time since July 29 of 2015, will stop its support on October 14, 2025, meaning that it will be overridden from this date, leaving the field for Windows 11.
