It seems that the fall of the Chinese company Huawei due to the harsh US sanctions was very beneficial to its competitors, especially its compatriot Xiaomi, which is currently in the first place in terms of sales of smart phones in the world, to the point that it has become a real competitor to Samsung and Apple.
According to the famous study company CounterPoint and in its monthly ranking, it announced that Xiaomi overtook Samsung and Apple in June 2021 to become the number one smartphone brand in the world for the first time ever, according to Counterpoint Research’s monthly market pulse service. Xiaomi’s sales grew 26% compared to the previous month in June 2021, making it the fastest growing brand for the month. Xiaomi was also the No. 2 brand globally for Q2 2021 in terms of sales, and cumulatively, it has sold nearly 800 million smartphones since its inception in 2011.
